LIST TOUR Sightseeing

Exploring Greater North Thailand (Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Phitsanuloke – Sokhothai – Phrae - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai - Mae Sai - Chiang Mai - Bangkok)

Day 1: Arrive Bangkok ( D )

On arrival at Bangkok, meet and transfer to hotel. Afternoon is free at leisure, or optional tour to Grand Palace. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in BKK

Day 2: Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Phitsanuloke ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, depart for Ayutthaya to visit Ayuthaya Historical park - the World Heritage sites.Wat Monkolborphit, and Wat Yai Chaimongkol. Visit beautiful Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed to Phitsanuloke for dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Phitsanuloke – Sukothai - Phrae ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Wat Mahatat and proceed to Sukothai to visit the Sukothai and Sri Satchanalai Historical Park. Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed to Prae to visit Burmese-style temple of Wat Chom Sawan and Prathat Shor Hae. Dinner & Overnight in Phrae.

Day 4: Phrae - Payao – Golden Triangle – Chiang Rai ( B, L, D )

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Baan Pratabjai - a house of beautifully carved teak pillars, and amazing natural landscape at Pae Muen Pee. Proceed to Phayao, Wat Sri Kom Kam. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Chaing Rai. Visit the famous Golden Triangle – border of Thai, Laos, and Myanmar. Dinner at hotel. Night Bazaar. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 5: Chiang Rai - Mae Sai – Chiang Mai ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, heading to Mae Salong Mountain to visit Akha & Yao Hill-tribe villages. Continue drive to Mae Sai, the northern most Thai town on Burmese border. Walk through local market, and jade factory. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue drive to Chiang Mai. Dinner & Overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 6: Chiang Mai ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, depart for elephant camp to see elephants at work ( elephant ride is optional ). Then visit an Orchid farm, and City tour including Wat Suan Dok, Doi Suthep, and Wat Pra Sighn. Dinner and overnight in Chiang Mai

Day 7: Chiang Mai ( B, L, D )

After breakfast, visit local morning market at Talad Waroros to see and shop for those local Ingredients, herbs, and spice that create fame to Thai cusine. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Handicraft village - see demonstration on how to make Sa paper, umbrella painting, laquerware, silverware, and the famous Thai silk. Kuntoke dinner. Night Bazar. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 8: Chiang Mai - Bangkok ( B )

After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to Chiang Mai airport for departure flight to BKK. Arrive at BKK airport, transfer to hotel, or transfer to international airport for departure flight. End of service
