07:00 Pick up at hotel in Saigon, then route for Can Tho. Board the Mekong Eyes at 12.30 at Ninh Kieu Pier in Can Tho. We will show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising downstream on the Hau river. Watch the daily life of the Mekong people through the panoramic windows. The boat heads to Tra On floating market, then up the Nikolai canal to Cai Nhum, a little town on the banks of the river Mang Thit. Disembark for a leisurely stroll through the village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals. Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on the deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape. The boat will anchor for the night, about 2 hours away from Cai Be. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner.
