Bach Ma National Park

Bach Ma National Park is located only 60 km south of Hue. The park covers an area of 22,031 ha and was created in 1991 to protect the centre of the last corridor of forest stretching from the South China Sea to the border with Laos. With steep mountains and dense forests this area is home to a wide variety of animals and plants and as a result Bach Ma is recognised as one of the bio-diversity centres of Indochina.

Day 1: Bach Ma National Park

• Transfer to Cau Hai.
• Drive uphill to the top of Bach Ma mountain (1400 m above the sea level).
• Trekking (intermediate level of trekking with incline gain of approximately 500 metres) approximately 3 km into the primitive forest, enjoying the scenery of the forest, birds singing and Do Quyen Waterfall which is 300 m hight.
• Picnic lunch at the fall.
• Visit Bao An Villa built by Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam and Ngu Ho (Group of 5 lakes) and ocean terrace.
• Drive back Hue City.
• Notice : For safety reasons we only recommend this tour between March and September as the trekking trails are slippery and uncomfortable during the wet season (OCT - FEB).
