PERFUME PAGODA

The Perfume Pagoda (Chua Huong) is about 60 km southwest of Hanoi. It's an important place of pilgrimage, and certainly one of the most scenic. The Perfumer pagoda is also called Huong pagoda in Vietnamese, and known as “the most beautiful cave in the Southern” where pagodas and buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs of Huong Tich mountain. Unlike other temples in Vietnam, the only way to reach this sanctuary is floating along a narrow but extremely poetic stream by rowing boats. The Perfurme pagoda’s festival begins from first lunar month to the end of third lunar month (February to April) attracts a great numbers of Buddhist pilgrims for visiting annually.

Day 1: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda - Hanoi
The car will take you forward My Duc district to visit Perfumer Pagoda in the morning. After about 2 hour drive, you arrive to Duc Wharf. Then you take rowboat manned by women to Trinh temple- “Registration” Temple that is a beginning place in this trip you can not avoid. You continue rowing along Yen stream to Thien Tru harbour, visiting Thien Tru temple (Leading to Heaven). Afterwards, you will enjoy time to trekking go up and down visit the main cave so nice, step by step you will arrive Huong Tich cave on the top of the mountain and admire Golden-Silver tree, rice stuck....One hour down. Having lunch at bottom mountain in restaurant beside. After lunchtime, you will see the Heaven Kitchen pagoda and to know about Buddhism ancient architectural at Le Dynasty. Then you will come back by rowboat trip to Duc wharf. Then ride back with a break at Van Phuc - the Traditional Handicraft Silk Village. Arrive in Hanoi at 19.00pm.
