Our trip starts at 8h00. Transfer to Ha Tay province to visit Thay Pagoda and Tay Phuong Pagoda. The legendary Thay pagoda was built in a tranquil mountain setting and has a long history dating back the 11th century. This landmark still preserves many precious worshipping objects and also presents the origin of the water puppet arts. After that, we transfer to visit Tay Phuong pagoda which is home to 80 wooden statues of various shapes and sizes. This structure was rebuilt in the 17th and 18th century and still has a big significance of classic architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. Then we return to Hanoi via Van Phuc silk village, just 15 km from Hanoi, located in Hadong town. This is a place renowned over centuries for its silk-making and silk products.
