Good Morning Saigon

If your schedule does not allow you to spend many days in this great city, you should at least take a half day tour. A good way to start the day is to join the local people in Vietnamese-style morning exercise, followed perhaps by a visit to one of the local markets, a lesson in cooking traditional Vietnamese food or a session tasting homemade honey-tea. The city sights are well worth seeing, along with the beautiful pagodas and fascinating museums or perhaps you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.

Day 1: Hochiminh city

• 06.00 am: Pick up at your hotel guide and drive to the Park opposite to the New World Hotel to see and join Tai Chi with local people.
• After that morning exercise visit the north entrance of ben Thanh Market to see the sellers start their business (fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, flowers) at 07:00 am we start to dicover Saigon behind the scenes by taking the local ferry from Bach Dang Quay across the Saigon River to Thu Thiem area for leisurely walking along small streets to observe the daily life and the morning activities of local people. Passing markets, a local school as well as many shops where there owners are preparing for the new day.
• Experience the two faces of Saigon, the bustling modern metropolis and the unspoiled and simple life just across the river.
• Take the local ferry boat back to the Saigon pier and enjoy the famous PHO for breakfast as well a traditional Vietnamese Coffee.
• Return at about 08.30 am and drop at your hotel.
