Vietnam Overview (Saigon - Nha Trang - Cam Ranh Bay - Danang - Hoi An)
Day 1: Saigon Arrival (D)

Our representative/tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport. Transfer to the city for hotel check-in. Free at leisure to make your own exploration to discover the bustling city of Saigon. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Saigon

Day 2: Saigon City Tours - Cu Chi Tunnels (Meals: B/L)

In the morning, the tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and today you will visit all interesting sites and landmarks in Saigon City. First stop is Notre Dame Catholic Cathedral and short visit to French built Post Office nearby, and then we will proceed to see the Reunification Palace, formerly the Presidential Palace governed by the US-pro government of Republic of Vietnam. Touring the building and then we will visit the War Remnants Museum, which primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War. Break time for lunch. In the afternoon, we drive to Cu Chi district, 50 km to the Northwest of Saigon City, The tunnels of Cu Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War, and were the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam's base of operations for the Tet Offensive in 1968. Touring the areas and then you will be transferred back to Saigon. Free time at leisure or shopping at Ben Thanh Market nearby.

Day 3: Saigon - Nha Trang (Meals: B/L)

By vehicle from Saigon to Nha Trang with sightseeing at the dunes of Mui Ne and the Po Klong Garai Cham Towers. Journey north along the coast and Highway 1 past Bien Hoa, Xuan Loc, Phan Tiet, Phan Rang, Lam and Dien Khanh. Ninh Tuan Province where Phan Rang is, is home to tens of thousands of descendents of the Cham people. Po Klong Garai Cham Towers: the four brick towers constructed at the end of the 13th century, during the reign of the Cham monarch Jaya Simhavarman III, were built as Hindu temples and stand on the top of a crumbly granite hill. Lunch will be serve on route. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 4: Nha Trang (Meals: B/L)

Experience the coast of Nha Trang aboard a boat as you set out in the morning for the first stop at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium. You will then head out to Hon Mun Island where you have the chance for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. From here, continue to Hon Tam Island where you have the choice of relaxing on the beach or for the energetic – there is a choice of water sports. Lunch stop is at the fishing village of Lang Chai where there is time to explore before boarding the boat back to Nha Trang harbor. If time permits, we will visit the Po Nagar Towers, an outstanding of ancient Cham architecture and then touring around Dam Market before transfer you back to the hotel. At Leisure.

Day 5: Nha Trang - Cam Ranh Bay - Danang - Hoi An (Meals: B, D)

At Leisure and then you will be taken to the airport in Nha Trang to take 1 hour flight to Danang City, famous for China Beach and the former R&R for US servicemen. Pick up upon arrival and transfer to Hoi An. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoi An. Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. At leisure for the rest of day and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue (Meals: B, L)

Boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island: Kim Bong Village is a village of woodworkers and boatbuilding families. Thanh Ha Village: Famous for it's simple brown pottery. Journey north along Highway 1 past Danang, Lang Co and the Hai Van Pass. Visiting Hue city - this quiet city is widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen Dynasty. We visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City like in Beijing. Free shopping in Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hue (Meals : B/L)

We will take boat trip along the scenic Perfume River for sightseeing and next stop will be the famous Thien Mu pagoda. After having lucnh at restaurant, our trip will visit Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang: a complex built in 1840 by King Minh Mang, known for its magnificent architecture, military statuaries and elaborate decorations. It is perhaps the most beautiful of Hue's pagodas and tombs. Visit Tu Duc Tomb: Emperor Tu Duc, who ruled Hue more than 100 years ago, built his tomb when he was still alive and used it for meditation, reading and theater performances. There are pavilions in a tranquil setting of forested hills and lakes. The tomb was constructed between 1864 and 1867. Visit Khai Dinh tomb: this was the last monument of the Nguyen dynasty and was constructed between 1920 and 1931. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Hanoi (Meals: B/D)

Free at leisure until transfer to Phu Bai airport for flight to Hanoi. Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi by cyclo: It is also called "36 streets," most of which are named after the crafts or merchandise traditionally sold there. In the evening you will attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Dinner in the restaurant with Vietnamese traditional cuisines. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 9: Hanoi – Halong (B/D)

By vehicle from Hanoi to Halong with sightseeing at Phat Tich pagoda & But Thap Pagoda:
• Phat Tich Pagoda: surrounded by hills considered noteworthy for their beauty, this pagoda was founded in 1037.
• But Thap Pagoda: also known as Ninh Phuc Pagoda, is known for its four storey stone stupa dedicated to the monk Chuyet Cong. The pagoda was rebuilt in the 17th and 18th centuries and the layout of the structure is traditional.
• Overnight in Halong

Day 10: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)

Excursion by boat through Halong Bay (4 hours). Cruise on a traditional wooden boat among the emerald waters and craggy limestone cliffs of Halong Bay, stopping at different islands to explore some of the many caves in this area. Sail past floating villages, fishermen casting their nets and pearl fisheries and observe the rhythms of daily life on the bay. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi Departure (Meals: B)
Free at leisure until transferring to Hanoi airport to take departure flight. HOME SWEET HOME. End of service.
