What to Do at Night in Hoi An

Even though Hoi An has a reputation as a town that turns its lights off early, there are two factors that make it an attractive nightlife location:

Number one, you can walk everywhere here as it's small enough for a night out without the need of wheels and indeed the centre is pedestrian only - this in a country that adores motorbikes.

Number two, the beer in Vietnam is about the cheapest in the world - making just about anywhere in the country party central if you wish it to be.

Tam Tam Café

One of the busiest night spots in Hoi An is the popular Tam Tam Café on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. This place combines class with fun - make sure you grab a balcony seat.

Tam Tam Café

Hai Scout Café

Hai Scout Café at 98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street is also a recommended place for later in the evening.

Before n Now

Before n Now on Le Loi Street is a boozy hangout offering two-for-one deals and a four-hour happy hour!

ChamPa

ChamPa on Nguyen Thai Hoc has comfy chairs, good wine, and a cozy, late-night atmosphere with frequent cultural dance performances.

The Lounge Bar

The Lounge Bar, also on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, is a laid-back, chic location worth checking out.

Mango Rooms

Mango Rooms (nearby The Lounge Bar) is the town's most popular little bistro and gathering point for local expats. The Mango Room's effusive owner, Duc, knows how to throw a party.
